**Many scholars, of which I am not one, say Ham was the younger son and take for granted they were born at separate times. But if you follow the verses in Genesis 5, verse 32 is like all the rest accept that it names 3 sons instead of one. "When Noah was 500 years old; and Noah begot Shem, Ham and Japheth. Gen. 9:20-24 Ham must have been the youngest of the triplets.

Interesting to Note:

When Methuselah was 187:
He begot Lamech the father of Noah and:

When Methuselah was 243 years old:
Adam died and Lamech was 56 years old.

When Methuselah was 300 years old:
Enoch was translated.

When Methuselah was 355 years old:
Seth died

When Methuselah was 369 years old:
Noah was born.

When Methuselah was 964 years old:
Noah's Father Lamech died, Noah was 595 years old.

When Methuselah was 969 years old:
Just five years after Noah's father dies so does Methuselah,
Noah was 600 years old and the flood occurs.
Was the flood the cause of Methuselah's death or had Methuselah died before the flood.

Note that Methuselah and Lamech knew all the Ancient Patriarchs!
Adam and Seth died before Noah, Shem, Ham, Japheth were born.

Also worthy of note is the fact that our more recent ancestors wanted us to believe that the pre-flood patriarchs spent their long life spans pushing sheep over hill sides. I wonder how they could possibly have come to such a conclusion? Look at all the evidence they left behind to prove they were much more advanced than we are.
