The brother of Cain and Able and born after Cain murdered his brother Abel. Gen.4:25 Seth's Father, Adam, was 130 years old when Seth was born. Gen.5:3 Eve was overjoyed to have another son after loosing her 2 oldest boys. Gen 4:25 Seth looked just like his dad. Gen.5:3 For the next 800 years Seth's family grew as many children were born to Adam and Eve. Gen.5:4 When Seth was 105 years old his first son was born, Enosh, and for the next 807 years he fathered more sons and daughters. Gen.5:6 It was after the birth of Seth's son, Enosh, that men "began to call upon the name of the Lord", pray. Gen.4:26 And just like his father before him Seth lived to be 912 years old. Gen.5:8 |

The oldest son of Seth, Adam and Eves grandson, who lived when men began to pray. Gen.4:25-26 Which could mean a couple things, first, a revival and secondly, men began to differentiate between Godly men and unbelievers. (Totally guess work on my part). Enosh fathered his first son, Kenan, when he was 90 years old and fathered more son and daughters down through the next 815 years. Gen.5:9-10 Enosh died at the age of 905 yrs old. Gen.5:11

![]() ![]() At the age of 70 Kenan fathered Mahalalel. And he lived to be 910 years old. Gen.5:13-14
![]() When Mahalalel was 65 he fathered Jared, and for the next 830 years Mahalalel fathered sons and daughters. Mahalalel lived to be 895 years old. Gen.5:12-17
![]() Jared fathered Enoch when he was 162 years old and for his remaining 800 years he fathered more sons and daughters. He died at the age of 962 years old. Gen.5: 18-20

Because of Enoch's great faith, and because he pleased God, he was [transported; changed; removed] so he wouldn't see death and was never seen again. Hebrews 11:5 During the years following the birth of Methuselah, Enoch walked with God and during those 300 years bore sons and daughters. When he was 365 years old God took [carried away; took up] Enoch. Gen.5:21-24

![]() ![]() Methuselah bore his son, Lamech, when he was 187 years old and lived another 782 years and bore more sons and daughters. Methuselah is thought to be the oldest man who ever lived, being 969 years old at his death. Gen.5:26-27

![]() ![]() The father of Noah. Lamech was 182 years old when he fathered Noah and blessed him, saying,
concerning our work and the toil of our hands, because of the ground which the Lord has cursed." The name Noah means "rest, relief". Lamech is also the first man mentioned in the Bible to have 2 wives. Gen.4:19 Lamech lived another 595 years and bore son's and daughters. Lamech lived to be 777 years old. Gen.5:28-31

Elam (A people East of Babylon and the Persian Gulf), Asshur (Assyria), Arpachshad, Lud, Aram, (Usually identified by scholars as Persia, Assyria, Chaldea, Lydia and Syria) making Shem the ancestor of the people of the Near East generally and the Hebrews specifically). Gen.10:21-31 (dictionary). Two years after the flood when Shem was 100 years old he fathered Arapachshad. Shem lived another 500 years and bore more sons daughters. Gen.11:10-11 Shem is also listed in Jesus Christ's ancestry. Luke 3:36

![]() ![]() The son's of Ham were Cush, Mizraim, Put, Canaan, Gen.10:6 Egypt, Africa, Phoenicia and Palestine. The youngest son of Noah. Gen.5:32 Ham found his father naked, drunk and asleep in his tent and told his brothers. Noah was furious because Ham had seen him naked and put a curse on Ham's decendants. Gen.9:21-27
